Georgetown, Colorado is an idillic setting for a writer’s conference. Nestled in the heart of the Clear Creek Valley in the shadows of spectacular towering Rockies, Georgetown is located in the Georgetown-Silver Plume National Historic District and boasts over 240 well preserved Victorian buildings. Although it is only 45 miles west of Denver, when you arrive you feel as though you have been dropped into another time and place far removed from the hustle and bustle of 21st century life.

Georgetown Indie Con (GEOCON) is based in the The Georgetown Heritage Center, housed in the recently restored two story 1874 schoolhouse complete with school rooms and a large performance room on the second floor.
